The final image in my series was not a Lucky Dip treat, it was actually born out of all the other concepts and finished off my set of 12 images.

He loves me, He loves me not…. You think they feel the same but they are already looking elsewhere.

I was searching through for a forest scene which was going to be more green and then I came across this one and had another ‘oooooohhhh’ moment. I loved the misty look and the bluey/ purple colouring.

This was always going to be a self portrait but I had been putting it off, a little ancy about creating it but also wanting to at the same time. Finally one Tuesday night I got home from the day job, set up the lounge room, backgrounds, lights and had it all done in dusted in about 20mins.

In hindsight I wish I’d take more of the flowers just by themselves to have spread out more around the scene (but hey that’s the beauty of learning). I think this image took about 6 hours to put together especially the colouring and tweaking as the flowers were bright pink and I hated it. I wanted like a deep red but couldn’t seem to get it there.

I hope you enjoy and stay tuned for all of these images in my 2020 Calendar due out early Dec
